About the Producer:
El Indio is actually a single variety community lot from an indigenous community, called the Nasa Wesx community. This community has groups in several Colombia regions, with this lot specifically coming from around the town of Gaitania in Tolima. This microlot is 100% Caturra. This variety originated in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a natural mutation of Red Bourbon. Caturra produces more coffee and is more resistant to plant diseases than Bourbon.
